California’s The Morning Benders performing my most-listened to song of the past month, ”Excuses,” with help from some friends (including John Vanderslice, Girls, and Port O’Brien) christened The Echo Chamber Orchestra. This is one of the most honest, moving live videos I have seen in quite some time, and there’s a good chance that it sent a record number of shivers down my spine.
Big Echo, the group’s fantastic second album, was produced by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear and is out now on Rough Trade.
