you can stare into the abyss, but it’s staring right back
Every time that I drag my butt out to a show, I can only hope that I’ll be witness to a cathartic moment like this. “When My Time Comes” is only a few years old, but it’s surely one of my favourite songs of all-time — the crowd screaming the chorus in unison at the top of their lungs in this Iowa barn makes it that much more poignant. I imagine this is one of those songs that makes other bands say, “Damn, I wish I wrote that.”
