Here’s a trailer for an upcoming documentary that follows Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová of The Swell Season after the success of their film Once and subsequent Oscar win.
How was I not aware that this footage existed? Gah, I don’t know if I can handle seeing them break up… but I’m such a sucker for a good music documentary. The Swell Season is due to hit select theatres next month.
That stunning song that Glen is seen singing near the end of the trailer is actually an older track by Glen’s initial band, The Frames, whose back catalogue is definitely worth sifting through.
